De Queen, AR—UA Cossatot is excited to share that the 2025 Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) graduating class earned a 100% pass rate on the NBCOT certification exam.
This achievement reflects the dedication, determination, and hard work of the students, along with the strong support provided by faculty and staff throughout the program. The NBCOT exam is the national certification test required for graduates to become Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, making a perfect pass rate an outstanding accomplishment for the program.
“These students have shown incredible dedication and commitment throughout their time in the program,” said Dr. Tamla Heminger, OTR, OTA Program Director at UA Cossatot. “Many balanced work, family, and other responsibilities while completing this rigorous program, and we are extremely proud of all they have accomplished.”
The achievement also demonstrates the OTA Program’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence, hands-on clinical training, and student success. UA Cossatot continues to prepare skilled occupational therapy assistants who will help meet healthcare needs across southwest Arkansas and surrounding communities.
Congratulations to the 2025 OTA graduates and faculty for this remarkable success!
