August 26, 2022
UA Cossatot hosted an induction ceremony for the newly elected Student Ambassadors on Thursday, August 25, 2022, in the Skilled Trades building on the De Queen Campus. Each ambassador signed a student contract, received their badge and blazer, and received a tuition waiver, presented by UA Cossatot Chancellor Dr. Steve Cole.
Fourteen student ambassadors were selected to represent UA Cossatot during the 2022-2023 academic year. The 2022-2023 UA Cossatot Student Ambassadors include Estevan Bravo, Angelica Aguilar, Magdalena Lugo, Anahiz Ruvalcaba, Kimberly Delgado, Lizbeth Osura, Jessica Frias, Esmeralda Camacho, Diana Ramirez, Litzi Flores, John-Luc Riley, Chevi Flournoy, Khuyler Hardy, and Gabbi Litchford.
A UA Cossatot Student Ambassador is a student who is chosen to be the face of UA Cossatot on campus and in the community. They are an active voice for the UA Cossatot student body. Through a joint effort with the Center for Student Success and other Student Ambassadors, they reach out to prospective students, sharing personal UA Cossatot experiences and successes. UA Cossatot Student Ambassadors are hard-working, honest, curious, adventurous, and have strong communication skills and high academic standards.
Erika Buenrrostro, Dennis Guzman, and Alisa Cooke are the student ambassador sponsors. “The UA Cossatot Ambassador Program helps students gain confidence, work more effectively, collaborate with others on and off campus, and helps them succeed in their careers,” said Erika Buenrrostro, Director of Student Success and Enrichment.
