First State Bank Donates to Legacy 2020 Campaign
March 23, 2017
The Legacy 2020 Campaign, a capital fundraising project of UA Cossatot Foundation, has received a donation from First State Bank of De Queen.
As a result of the donation, Room 205, located in the Frachiseur Pulliam Educational Center on the De Queen Campus, will be renamed the First State Bank Classroom.
“The investment made by First State Bank to our campaign and to UAC students shows the confidence they have in our institution,” said Dustin Roberts, UA Cossatot’s Coordinator of Development. “As we continue with our Legacy 2020 campaign, the commitment First State Bank has shown our college is inspiring. We hope other small business and individuals will want to support enhancing the education and experience of our students.”
UA Cossatot Foundation’s Legacy 2020 Campaign is to focus on donors and businesses that wish to invest in the growth of the college on all three campuses. For every donation amount, a naming opportunity exists for donors who wish to leave a legacy for current and future students.
“The Board of Directors of First State Bank of De Queen is proud of the educational accomplishments and opportunities of our community,” said Gary Golden, First State Bank CEO. “It is our pleasure to contribute to that success.”
“One of the great aspects of the Legacy 2020 campaign is the flexibility,” said Roberts. “We have businesses and individuals who are investing an amount at one time and others who are paying out a commitment annually.”
More information on the Legacy 2020 Campaign is available on the college’s website at www.cccua.edu/ua-cossatot-foundation/legacy2020.
