Emergency Food Box Event Taking Place at UA Cossatot
October 01, 2020
The Central Arkansas Development Council (CADC) for Sevier County will be hosting a food distribution event called Emergency Food Box at UA Cossatot’s De Queen Campus on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. The event will take place in front of the Allison building from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Over 50 pounds of food, including meat, vegetables, and baking goods, will be available to those who meet income guidelines.
The CADC in Sevier County is dedicated to helping fight the war on poverty while also helping our local neighborhoods and families who may need assistance, especially those who may have been affected by the COVID-19 virus. UA Cossatot’s Center for Student Success is proud to partner with the CADC in Sevier County to help provide the food to those in need.
Individuals wishing to attend this event and receive a box of food need to bring a photo I.D. and must meet income guidelines. This event is a “first come, first serve” event, and curbside delivery will be available.
