A PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN CCCUA & TYSON FOODS

You want to go to college, but you haven’t had the money required to participate in the tuition reimbursement program offered by Tyson’s, Inc. And that doesn’t include the cost of textbooks and other fees. That’s about to change.

Tyson’s Inc., in partnership with Cossatot Community College of the University of Arkansas, now offers you the means to get your education without any significant up-front costs.

  1. You are permitted to enroll in the courses listed on your authorization as a Tyson’s Inc. Scholar in this program. This authorization is ONLY for the current semester, and ONLY for the courses listed below. Proposed changes in your course schedule must first be approved by the Company.
  2. By signing the certificate, you understand that if you do not complete the course(s) you are authorized to take with a grade of “C” or better, the Company has no obligation to pay for your courses. If you do not make a grade of “C” or better, you will be required to pay Cossatot Community College of the University of Arkansas for the full cost of the course, including the costs of tuition, fees, and textbooks.
  3. You further understand that if you qualify for any other assistance, whether through scholarships, federal or state grants, or other aid, that the cost of your participation in the program will first be charged to these programs. Any costs not covered by these programs will then be charged to Tyson’s Inc.
  4. At the end of the course(s), you are required to return all materials to the College Bookstore. You will not be entitled to the “buyback” privileges extended to other CCCUA students, since the Company has already paid for the textbooks.
  5. Failure to complete the course(s), withdrawing from it/them, or being dropped by the College from the course for academic or other reasons, will result in your owing the College the balance of whatever costs have been incurred up to the date of your leaving the course(s).
