Small Business Training Program

What can a small amount of time and dedication bring you? A key to open the door to your business future. That's the opportunity offered by attending the Small Business Training Program.

The Small Business Training Program, an enterprise of Cossatot Community College of the University of Arkansas and the DeQueen/Sevier County Chamber of Commerce, provides this 8 – 10 week course that is geared toward those who are interested in starting their own business. At completion of the training, participants will have learned the basics of starting a small business, and how to write a business plan.

Small Business Training classes are held upon area demand. Classes will be held at all 3 campuses of Cossatot Community College of the University of Arkansas.

If you are interested in starting a small business or just learning about the process, this is the place for you.

Completion of this class entitles the participant to one (1) credit hour (an elective for those having a high school diploma or GED). All participants completing this class will receive a certificate of attendance.
