RAMP Scholarship Awarded to Dierks and Foreman Grads

The University of Arkansas Cossatot awarded three students the Regional Advanced Manufacturing Partnership Grant (RAMP) Industrial Technology Scholarship.
The $500 scholarship benefits students from the Southwest Arkansas community that will graduate from college with education and skills necessary to work in fields related to industrial technology.
Brady Strasner, a 2016 Dierks High School graduate, will continue at UA Cossatot this fall pursuing an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Skilled and Technical Sciences.
Jared Harner, a 2016 Dierks High School graduate, is working towards his AAS in Skilled Technical Sciences at UA Cossatot.
Jobye Adams, a 2017 Foreman High School graduate, will continue welding classes that he began at UA Cossatot as a high school student. He will also pursue his AAS in Skilled and Technical Sciences.
RAMP was established with state funding with a purpose of introducing and educating elementary, middle school, and high school students to Southwest Arkansas opportunities within industrial technology.
