CCCUA-Ashdown to Host “Starting A Business In
Arkansas” Seminar

ASHDOWN – Cossatot Community College of the University
of Arkansas will host a seminar in room 104 of its Ashdown Extension on September
28 from 5:15 to 8:15 pm dealing with “Starting A Business in Arkansas”.
The seminar, which will be presented by a representative from the Arkansas
Small Business Development Council, which is sponsored by Southern Arkansas
University, will detail the tips and tricks to use, and the pitfalls to avoid,
when starting a new business. The seminar is also sponsored by the Little
River Chamber of Commerce and the Spotlight Business Accelerator for Entrepreneurs,
a business incubator program sponsored by CCCUA that serves Sevier and Little
River Counties.
Seating is limited for this seminar, and the cost is $20 per attendee. To

September 27.
Cossatot Community College offers both technical certification and Associate’s
degrees in a wide range of fields on its campus at De Queen, at extension
sites at Nashville and Ashdown, and at cccua.edu. It has an enrollment of

of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
