CCCUA Releases Chancellor’s, Dean’s Lists

DE QUEEN – Kristin Bowden, Vice Chancellor and Dean of Academic Services at Cossatot Community College of the University of Arkansas, has released the Chancellor’s and Dean’s Lists for the summer 2004 term. The qualification for inclusion on the Chancellor’s List is a 4.0 grade point average after completing 12 hours of college-level courses. The Chancellor’s List honorees are:

Bowden said of the students who made the lists, "We are
very pleased that we have these high-achieving students. In the summer of
2003, we had three on the Chancellor’s list and five on the Dean's list.
This year, we have ten on the Chancellor’s list, and eight on the Dean’s
list. We are doing our best to inspire these students to achieve academically,
and they are responding in growing numbers."
Cossatot Community College offers both Associate’s degrees and technical
certification in a wide range of fields on its campus at De Queen, at extension
sites at Nashville and Ashdown, and at http: //cccua.edu. It has an enrollment
of over 900 students, and is accredited by the North Central Association of
Colleges and Schools’ Higher Learning Commission.
