CCCUA Holds First Colt Winter Classic
Cossatot Community College of the University of Arkansas held the first ever Colt Winter Classic on Friday, January 20. Almost 900 high school agriculture students from across the state participated on the Sevier County Campus. Students competed in Leadership and Career Development Events such as forestry, poultry, and livestock judging. “This was a very large event for our small community,” said Nicki Litchford, Agriculture Instructor and Event Organizer. “Students from distant Arkansas high schools, such as Pocahontas, traveled many hours to come to our college. I am so proud of our staff and college students who made this event a huge success.”
