Through hands-on instruction and access to experts in the field, participants will gain the knowledge and skills needed to recognize and appropriately document, collect, preserve, and store evidence from a crime scene, ultimately allowing them to solve more crime in their communities. Students enrolled in this program of study would obtain twenty-seven to thirty degree hours presented by the Criminal Justice Institute of the University of Arkansas System and completing basic law enforcement training at an ACLEST accredited academy and attending advanced courses.
