Praxis I exam is a basic skills test. The website for information and registration is www.ets.org/praxis.

The computer version of the test can be taken at Henderson State University everyday of the week except Sunday.

Have a date or two in mind to ask if the one you want is available. If not, you will have an alternate date ready. Be sure to ask for directions if you are not familiar with the campus and arrive early for the test.

The busiest days are Friday, Saturday, and Monday. The charge is approximately $135.00 which includes all three sections of the PRAXIS. It costs around $85 if you are only taking one section.
 
Split test, meaning specific sections of the test are requested during one test period rather than taking all three test sections in one test period, simultaneously one after the other. Some request this as you pay for all three but test one section at a time to help your performance and concentration.
 
To make an appointment, call so you know they are expecting you and have a computer available. Payment is requested by credit card, check, or money order. You will need a photo I.D.
 
Note: No Calculators are permitted during any sections of the PRAXIS test. There is a 30-day waiting period between times that you are allowed to take the test again. Plan ahead so you will have your scores in time for graduation.

Taking the Paper Version at CCCUA

If you preger to take the paper version of the Praxis at CCCUA, then you must register online at least one month early. You can register at: www.ets.org/praxis.
